33rd National Institute on Criminal Tax Fraud and 6th Annual National Institute on Tax Controversy, which will take place on December 9, 2016, in Las Vegas, NV.  David will be a speaker on the panel, “Addressing Employment Tax Issues in Sensitive Examinations.”  The IRS has become more diligent about asserting taxpayer injunctions and criminal prosecutions for failing to pay employment taxes as reflected in various recent cases.  The panel will provide practical advice and recommendations for dealing with clients who have failed to comply with their employment tax obligations.
