Holtz, Slavett & Drabkin tax attorney, David J. Warner, will be speaking at the Estate and Succession Planning Affinity Group of the Orange County region of ProVisors on Thursday, March 25, 2021. David will be presenting on the topic “Top 10 Steps to Avoid Landing on the Wrong Side of an IRS Audit.”
No one wants to go through an IRS audit (also called an “examination”). In David’s presentation, he will discuss the 10 steps that taxpayers and their attorneys can take to avoid some of the greatest mistakes and to prevent larger tax liabilities, longer audits, and even criminal prosecution. David will specifically discuss how the 10 Steps relate to Form 706 estate tax returns that are under regular audit by the IRS.
