Gary Slavett, tax attorney and principal at Holtz, Slavett & Drabkin, will be speaking on two panels at the USC Gould School of Law 2016 Tax Institute. The first panel, Tax Practitioner Penalties Section 6694, Circular 230, and Beyond will be held on January 26, 2016 at 4:20pm. This panel will include a practical discussion on Circular 230 and prepare penalties. Gary will also be speaking on a second panel, IRS Examination and Collection Representation to be held on January 26, 2016, at 6:00pm. This panel will include discussion on practical and ethical issues that frequently arise during IRS examinations and when the IRS is pursing collection actions.
