This is a free webinar being presented by the Beverly Hill Bar Association as a public service to assist professionals so they may better assist their clients in taking advantage of the recently enacted tax relief measures.
The presentation will provide tax professionals with an up to date look at the recent legislation and new IRS initiatives that address the impact of COVID-19. The panelists will discuss the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Additionally, the panelists will address recent Internal Revenue Service administrative guidance, including the People First Initiative, and tax filing and payment deadline addressed in IRS Notice 2020-18 and subsequently released FAQs.
